Individual giving

Members of the Bushfire Family either give regularly into what we call the income account or on a one off basis in which case donations go into the project account. As a rule we do not use online giving facilities as they need to make a profit, and usually charge a percentage of the gift. We want as much money to get to the kids, so we channel our giving through a UK based charity called Stewardship. This is a non profit-making organization that facilitates charitable giving, and ensures that gift-aid, where appropriate, is reclaimed. They charge a basic fee for this service which simply covers their admin costs.
